WebDec 17, 2024 · I have a Honeywell Peaksaver Plus thermostat and the Heat is on, set to Auto. The temp inside temp is sitting at 62F and set to 74F at the moment. However, the Heat comes on only for minute then shuts off. Furnace filter is new. Also, how do i get rid of the schedule? Could this be the cause? Programming problem? WebThe original thermostat was a programmable Honeywell T8132A. There are four wires coming out of the wall; they were connected to terminals W, Y, G, and R/RC. About two years ago, as part of a free program, an Ottawa Hydro technician replaced that thermostat with a Honeywell PeakSaver model T2060F.

Went downstairs and sure, house temperature is 21˚C and thermostat is set for 22.5˚C. Increased temperature to 24˚C and AC still running.
